About Us

We had fun creating this blog, which is a light-hearted account of our travels together.  The “he says / she says”  style  allows us to express ourselves authentically and with the sense of humor that spurs some of the highs of our trips and helps us get through some of the lows.

Our travel blog is not meant to be the definitive guide to any vacation spot. There is Trip Advisor, etc. for that level of research.

We just we want to share our experiences, our own way and in our own time.  Not only the finds, but also the lemons. We include links to hotels, restaurants, museums and related reference sites. You are encouraged to comment, ask questions and/or share highlights of your trips. And if you have a similar blog, great.  We’d love to have another valuable addition to the Luc and Alison Travel blogroll.

Per our blog subtitle, we started this blog midstream.  So in addition to our future ventures, we will be blogging about prior ones.  For accuracy, the posting date will match the timeline of our trip.  We are starting with our May 2009 trip to Ibiza and Barcelona, Spain.   To follow are trips to Italy, Tunisia and France.
