These photos make not only make me want to visit Spain, but they are making me hungry too…
I love Barcelona! One of the best places I’ve visited.
@ Tanya,
Yes, me too!
That is where Luc comes in. He gets to recreate the food we have on the trip!
Will be adding a recipe that features padron or tapas peppers lightly grilled in olive oil and coarse sea salt. Complete with photo of me looking like total glutton. To come soon with Barcelona postings.
@ Em,
I agree. If it weren’t for all of those tourists! ;)
Seriously, please chime in once we get the Barcelona postings online. Such a great city and we did not get to do and see everything.
Plus, the value of this blog is to provide a place with people can share their experiences. Who knows, we may get to go back again.
Great idea for a contest. I think I’m the unlucky #5 but congrats to number 13 where ever you areeeeeeee :)
Congratulations on the blog. It looks great. I too really enjoyed Barcelona. Didn’t go to Ibiza (maybe next time), but really enjoyed San Sebastian (loved all the tapas at the bars).
Hey Alison! It’s your little brother, just writing in to say how glad I am to find your great travel blog (already made use of the RSS subscription option). The Ibiza photos are fantastic, by the way, and I’ll comment on the relevant post for more on that … by the way, I found this blog through the helpful article you wrote on social networking (http://bit.ly/6di44s), which came to my attention because of our connection on LinkedIn … three virtual hops from my Gmail inbox!
I’m obviously not in the running for the book, but I might buy it anyway, if you think it’s a good primer for aspiring bloggers. I look forward to reading more about your travels with Luc on this blog; from the photos you’ve taken, you both look like you’re having great fun globe-trotting and sharing your experiences with us. Of course, what I’m really hoping is to find a way to come see you both again in Montreal, maybe when the temperature is more suitable for cold-averse Texans …
Yes, I am not planning to retire on the Examiner.com income – it is really just a way to keep active and will populate a future blog…will be posting a how-to as part of January 2010. (As if that has not been done a gazillion times, but I found the online refs really helpful – and took notes along the way …). Snowing here!
